2014 marked the first full year of existence for AGIT. In case you’re wondering, I still don’t have it together. At least once a day I say out loud, “I really need to get my life together” so I think we don’t have to worry about me having to change this blog’s name any time soon.
Almost Getting it Together has introduced me to some of my closest friends. I’ve loved sharing my life – both highs and lows – with all of my wonderful readers over the past year. Your comments, tweets and e-mails have brightened each and every day. I am so excited for what 2015 holds not only for this blog but for myself and for all of you, too!
In honor of the people who make this possible (all of you who are reading my blog), I wanted to recap the most popular posts of 2014.
Readers’ Favorite Posts
This was my most popular post of the year and maybe my favorite breakfast of the year. I can’t tell you how many people I have gotten onto the overnight oat train because of this breakfast.
How have I not made this again? I seriously need to make a big batch and eat a couple spoonfuls here and there for dessert instead of snacking at night (whoops).
This is a piece of writing I am really, really proud of. But I’m not going to lie, I think I’ve lightened up on myself a little too much over the past few months so January is going to be about finding balance.
Not a photo I used for that post but a photo of me in college. (Sorry for using this Courtney and Jess, at least all three of us equally look better now haha.) If you want to work in social media or in marketing, I suggest you read this post.
This is another recipe I am upset with myself for not making again! These were one of my favorite energy bite iterations and you guys know I love my energy bites.
This recipe is stupid easy and stupid delicious. My only plans for New Year’s Eve thus far include spending it with my favorite Pittsburgh boy (besides my dad), drinking champagne and maybeeee eating this popcorn.
Just in time for all those New Year’s Resolutions… Healthy Lifestyle Hacks!
This is a little bit of a summer recipe but figs + blueberries = love in case you were wondering.
I have a feeling there are lots of long flights in my future for 2015 so I’ll be using these tips to make sure I arrive to my location without having a panic attack.
I need to get back on the spiraling/vegan train some of the time in January to prep for all my February visitors/be able to continue fitting into my jeans/leggings/yoga pants. This recipe is going to have to go back on rotation!
The Healthiest Chocolate Cupcakes with Peanut Butter Frosting
Finally, I made these cupcakes in honor of AGIT’s first birthday. These super healthy treats were my thanks to you for being a part of one of the best years yet!
