Now Trending – Best Links Week of 3.30
This is the first time I have sat down [since leaving the office] all day (as I write this Wednesday night)! My morning started early so I could get in a 10 mile track workout and literally ran into Emily during my warm-up so that was a happy surprise. Once I got home I went to the laundromat because the washer in my building just eats quarters and doesn’t work. Luckily there is a nice one just a few blocks up from me and I live in a nice area so I could leave it, go run other errands and come back. Then I photographed two recipes, made a beet juice and granola and cleaned my entire apartment since my bestie Carly is en route as I write this (and here as you read this). Honestly, I think my main purpose in life is to entertain and nurture.
So I’m sure you really cared about my day. Here are the best links I found this week because we all know that’s why you’re here, right?
Another day, another post about how I want to go to Morocco. I love Oh, Ladycakes’ recap because she talks about the actual cities she visited which should help us plan our trip (*cough* Jessi I know you’re reading this).
Love this post on How to Vacation Like a Proper Adult. I’ve always vacationed like a proper adult because I’ve been acting like I’m 70 since I was seven (JK I think I’m 17 and just signed up for my own health insurance for the first time ever this week).
I really need to get to Hawaii again because I’m so close (That’s a good excuse, right?), especially because of this breathtaking drive to Haleakala Crater that Amanda featured on her blog last week.
Erin McKenna of Erin McKenna’s Bakery (formerly named BabyCakes) did an interview on how to achieve your dreams. Because let’s be real – following your dreams is for kids, making them happen is for adults.
This was all over the Internet a couple weeks ago so I’m probably late to the game, but what does your first name say about you? Cassandra is pretty accurate: I’m passionate, intense and need lots of fresh air and exercise because I have way too much energy.
Weird to think that six months ago I was days away from finding out I was moving across the country. Luckily my dad is #thebest and did all my packing for me but I have a feeling next move I might not be so lucky. Here are some ways to make moving day easier and less expensive.
I eat the same thing for weeks on end (currently dinner has been a salad with chickpeas, beets and goat cheese with avocado toast topped with a runny egg for the past 3-ish weeks) but if you aren’t cool with a never-changing menu, here are Five Tips to Keep From Getting Bored with Dinner.
Fun fact: One summer in high school I ate chocolate chip pancakes and bacon every day after cross-country practice. I still crave them on the reg which is why I want to make Davida’s Fluffiest Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Pancakes.
Do you ever wish you could use leftover pizza dough for something other than pizza? Yeah, me either, but here are Five Unexpected Ways to Use Pizza Dough. I really want to make pizza pretzels (Pizzatzels?).
Chat with me:
Is the meaning of your first name accurate? Do you use pizza dough in unexpected ways? Do you travel like an adult?
