Yo, where did August go? It’s fine. August had nothing to offer me so I’m glad it’s over. Let’s just get to the best links from this week and forget how crappy August turned out. (Okay, it wasn’t crappy, it just wasn’t exciting.)
Goa has been pretty high on my travel list since I found out Goa existed. Of course Jade Jagger just casually lives there in the most beautiful home ever.
Camping is truly one of my biggest fears in life. I read a book about the Appalachian Trail once and pretty much spent the entire two weeks I was reading it seconds away from a panic attack at the idea of having to sleep in a tent and stuff for months. But I’m down with glamping aka glamorous camping where you sleep in a bed and have a shower and a cook. So who wants to take me to Nimmo Bay Wilderness Resort in British Columbia?
So this is the run snob in me speaking (I’ve been running for 11 years, I think I have a clue as to what I’m doing), but it amuses me when people think they can go out and run a half-marathon or something without training. It took me years to get up the courage to think I can possibly run 26.2 miles and clearly my brain was right – people with more training miles run the fastest marathons.
Running to the Finish has a great list of 33 Running Resources.
I’m always looking for new strength workouts… gotta try this Arm Toning Workout by my girl Erin.
These Chewy Coconut Oat Granola Bars Stuffed with Chocolate Date Caramel from Yeah… Imma Eat That look insanely decadent and insanely delicious and I may have been thinking about them all week.
I know strawberry season (and summer) are basically over, but this summer I discovered my love of all things pistachio, especially when combined with strawberries, so I wish I had found this Strawberry Pistachio Loaf from London Bakes earlier.

I think I spent hours trying to figure out how to easily resize photos on iPhoto… then I read this post on how to resize photos from Jessica at My Style Vita.
Almost Getting it Together turns ONE next weekend. Can you believe it? How much has changed… and how much hasn’t changed (spoiler alert: still don’t have it together). Anyway, these first posts from fashion bloggers make me feel less embarrassed of my first 6-7 months of blogging.
On the “growing as a blogger” front… A Beautiful Mess had a great post on the “Confessions of a Food Photographer” that shows a lot of amazing growth and progression.
This video has me SO PUMPED for Ragnar… right Em? #icecreamat1am

What were your favorite finds this week? Are you ready for September? Is my fear of camping irrational? (No.)
