Depending on when you’re reading this, I’m either en route to Pittsburgh, in Pittsburgh, or maybe this is years down the line and you’ve stumbled across my blog and decided to back stalk me and who knows where I am but trust me, past Cassie is flattered and knows you’re making the right decision back stalking me.
I had so many good posts planned for you this week but life got in the way again, not in the super fun let’s drink drinks and go to the beach at 9 p.m. and make people anxious about missing flights and barely sleep for three days kind of fun I was having a couple weeks ago, but in the life way. Which is the lamest way. So I haven’t had the time to read things on the Internet and find interesting things like I usually do during the weekend/week but here are the best links I’ve found this week.
Side note: I seriously got saucy and funny on this post but then thought I would offend people so I edited it. Should I do things like that?
2015 has the potential to be the year I go to Tokyo. For a number of reasons, but also I live like a direct flight away. My spirit animal Leandra Medine was just there and I love her photo diary.
Non-cheesy romantic getaways. I love that I don’t see junk like Paris, Venice and NYC on this list. All lovely places, don’t get me wrong, but over-played.
I’m so guilty of #relfies, or relationship selfies, because, um, I date really cute boys (I am seriously the girl of no hard feelings ever), but are #relfies good for your relationship?
Someone sent me this parody of Sarah Koenig from Serial just totally losing her shit on the last episode and I laughed so hard. No spoilers! (Also don’t spoil it for me, I haven’t listened to episode 12 yet.)
I don’t like the idea of going out with people I don’t know which is why I just get involved with people I’ve known for years (hey, at least I know what works for me) so I’m not very knowledge about first dates where I don’t know the person, but it’s funny to see what NYC bartenders had to say about first date tips.
Love this three move workout by Ashley from A Lady Goes West.
Ever wonder what size dumbbells you should use? I’ll give you a hint, it’s probably not three pounds which is what I typically use.
Hoping Joe has acquired another food processor since he sent his to SF so I can make this Salted Oat Fudge. (Gram, you’re reading this, do you have a food processor handy?)
Um these salted chocolate truffles look like everything. These are totally junk free.
On my way to the airport I was thinking “oh maybe I’ll go to Toronto and visit Davida over the next couple of weeks” until I realized I left my passport in San Francisco. #fail. Maybe she will mail me her Chocolate Chip Gingerbread Energy Bites?
Chat with me:
What is your worst first date story ever? Do you ever back stalk people? …Have you ever back stalked me? (Please say yes!)
